Dr. Hannah Short is a GP with a special interest in women’s hormonal health. After obtaining her undergraduate degree in Human Sciences from the University of Oxford, she went on to complete her medical training at the University of Cambridge and qualified as a doctor in 2009. She achieved Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners (MRCGP) in 2016, and has completed diplomas from the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (DRCOG) and the Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Health (DFSRH). In addition to her work in general practice, Hannah has also recently completed a one-year Clinical Assistantship in Gynaecology. She is currently Social Media Editor for Post-Reproductive Health (the official journal of The British Menopause Society) and is a former trustee of The National Association for Premenstrual Syndromes (NAPSs).

Hannah became vegan for ethical reasons in January 2016, and has an evolving interest in the role of plant-based nutrition in health and disease. In January 2018 she commenced the eCornell Certificate in Plant-Based Nutrition, and also undertook further training in Lifestyle Medicine with the RCGP.
